Thermastex application procedure

Thermastex coating is a thick putty-like material which can only be applied by highly trained technicians using special heavy duty spray equipment. It is designed as a superior long life coating to give a maintenance free life in excess of 25 years.

In order for this type of coating to perform as designed, it must be applied strictly to the manufacturer's recommended application rates. It is for this reason that we only allow Thermastex to be applied by our own personnel working to a strict application procedure.
We do NOT use subcontractors for any part of the installation.

1. Surface to be prepared as required to form a sound base.
2. Power wash/sand blast all areas to a clean condition.
3. Mask all areas not to be treated doors ,windows gutters,etc.
4. Apply 2 coats of fungicide to kill any remaining contamination of algae/mould.
5. Blend in any repairs and resurface all areas to match existing surface.
6. Apply a CEMEX base coat to all areas to form a uniform finish.
7. Apply THERMA-SIL primer to all prepared surfaces.
8. Apply THERMASTEX COATING to all prepared areas using high pressure spray equipment.
9. Demask all areas and clean up.
10. Remove from site all resulting rubbish, plant and equipment etc.
